To further deepen the understanding and grasp of Chinese modernization among faculty and students, on the morning of June 29, the School of Marxism at Harbin Institute of Technology invited Professor Ai Silin from Tsinghua University to deliver a profound and inspiring special report on the theme Cultural Issues in the Process of Modernization in Conference Room 316 of the Activity Center. The report was attended by faculty and students of the School as well as representatives from sister universities in the province. The report was chaired by Professor Gao Xianzhong, Dean of the School of Marxism at Harbin Institute of Technology.
Professor Gao Xianzhong, Dean of the School of Marxism, summarized the report. He expressed sincere gratitude for Professor Ai Silin's excellent report and pointed out that this lecture is of great significance for the faculty and students to deeply understand cultural issues in the process of modernization. It provides new ideas and directions for the School's discipline development, academic research, and talent cultivation. He encouraged faculty and students to take this lecture as an opportunity to further strengthen research on cultural issues and continuously enhance their academic competence and theoretical literacy.
