On the morning of March 8th, CPC HIT’s School of Marxism Committee held an expanded Party committee meeting to convey the spirit of the expanded meeting of the University's Leading Group for Party Building and Comprehensive and Strict Party Governance, as well as the university-wide deployment meeting for the campaign in establishing and practicing a correct understanding of what it means to perform well.
The meeting fully deployed and initiated the study on this theme. Members of the school's leading team, Party committee members, and secretaries of all Party branches attended the meeting, which was presided over by Ma Yunxiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School.
At the meeting, Ma Yunxiang conveyed the spirit of the university's meeting, elaborated on the Implementation Plan of the CPC Harbin Institute of Technology Committee for Carrying Out the Campaign in Establishing and Practicing a Correct Understanding of What It Means to Perform Well and put forward three requirements for the college to solidly carry out the study and education.
1.Raise Political Standing and Be a Pioneer in Theoretical Learning
Fully understand the great political, theoretical and practical significance of carrying out the campaign, and take the lead in learning and delve deeper into the relevant content.
2.Focus on Core Responsibilities and Establish a Weathervane for Diligent Work and Solid Achievements
Closely integrate the campaign with the school's 15th Five-Year Plan tasks and annual key work. Integrate the correct view of performing well into the whole process of running the school, and serve the university's development strategy with high-quality ideological and political education outcomes.
3.Strictly Abide by Disciplines and Rules, and Build a Firewall Against Integrity and Self-Discipline
Take the campaign as an opportunity to temper party spirit, improve work style, create a clean and upright educational environment featuring hard work and responsibility, and provide a strong political guarantee for accelerating the construction of a first-class School of Marxism.
The meeting emphasized that the entire school should closely integrate the campaign with the promotion of the school's central work. Efforts should be made to transform the learning achievements into a strong driving force for promoting the high-quality development of the school, and contribute to writing a new chapter for HIT to move towards the forefront of world-class universities with new trends and new actions.
